Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Personal Lines Insurance Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service, providing expert insurance guidance, and supporting long-term client relationships. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while contributing to a collaborative and service-focused team environment. Your responsibilities will include:

Client Relationship Management

  • Deliver exceptional service to an established personal lines client base by advising on coverage needs, renewals, policy changes, and claims-related inquiries.
  • Build long-term client relationships through trusted guidance, proactive communication, and a commitment to delivering tailored insurance solutions.

Policy Management & Insurance Advisory

  • Review, market, and recommend personal insurance coverage solutions that align with client needs and risk profiles.
  • Navigate insurer portals and maintain a strong understanding of the general insurance marketplace to secure competitive and appropriate coverage options.

Account Administration & Documentation

  • Accurately manage policy documentation, endorsements, renewals, and client records while ensuring regulatory and brokerage compliance.
  • Maintain organized workflows and documentation to support efficient service delivery and a seamless client experience.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Collaborate with internal teams, underwriters, and insurance partners to resolve client concerns and provide timely solutions.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues, contributing to a supportive and high-performing team culture.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure accuracy and professionalism across all client interactions while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and support brokerage goals through strong attention to detail and accountability.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience

  • Level 2 General Insurance Licence is required.
  • Significant experience in personal lines insurance with a strong understanding of the general insurance market.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating insurer/company portals and working within a brokerage environment.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in insurance systems, documentation, and policy administration processes.
  • Experience with Applied EPIC is considered a strong asset.
