Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Mechanical Designer/Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative mechanical solutions that drive project success and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the creation of detailed mechanical designs, ensuring they meet project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that improve efficiency and performance.
- Prepare and review detailed drawings, models, and technical documentation using advanced CAD software.
- Support project managers by providing technical guidance, troubleshooting design issues, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and present design concepts.
- Conduct design reviews and enforce quality control measures to uphold the organization’s high standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance design efficiency and project outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally within engineering consulting, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating across teams and with clients.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
