Personal Lines Account Manager - Red Deer, Ponoka, and Central Alberta 

Full-Time | Insurance Brokerage

Our client is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys working closely with clients, providing expert advice, and delivering outstanding service while managing a diverse portfolio of personal insurance accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and service an assigned portfolio of personal lines clients, including home, auto, recreational, and umbrella policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely advice, policy reviews, renewals, endorsements, and claims support.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their evolving insurance needs.
  • Work closely with insurance carriers to negotiate competitive coverage and pricing.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products and generate new business through referrals and client relationships.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Utilize brokerage management systems and insurer portals efficiently to ensure accurate documentation and seamless service.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a positive client experience and support overall brokerage growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2+ years of Personal Lines insurance experience.
  • Level 2 General Insurance License preferred.
  • Completion of, or progress toward, a CAIB or CIP designation is considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with insurance brokerage management systems.
