Commercial Insurance Advisor – Cold Lake, AB (Full-Time, Permanent)
Our Client is currently seeking a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join their Commercial Team in Cold Lake Alberta, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide front-line customer service for Commercial Lines policies
-
Manage and retain existing client accounts while developing new business opportunities
-
Conduct client needs assessments, offer insurance advice, and recommend appropriate solutions
-
Handle policy renewals, changes, and inquiries efficiently and professionally
-
Write and quote new business through outbound calling, introductory letters, and walk-in clients
-
Communicate with underwriters and adjusters regarding policy guidelines
-
Complete insurer documentation, client applications, certificates of insurance, and related administrative duties

Stay current with underwriting guidelines and internal workflow procedures
-
Participate actively in training and professional development
-
Represent the company in community-based marketing initiatives
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Candidates with equivalent skills and experience are encouraged to apply.

High School diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
-
Previous experience in Commercial Insurance is preferred
-
Must hold an AIC Level I or Level II General Insurance License
-
Proficient with EPIC, CISCO Finesse, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Prior sales experience is an asset

Exceptional customer service skills with strong conflict resolution abilities

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
-
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-
Must be able to pass a background check including criminal and credit screening
