Key Responsibilities

As the Branch Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch while driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and employee development to support long-term business success.

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive branch profitability and achieve sales growth targets across all business areas.
  • Support the expansion of market share by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends while providing strategic feedback on future opportunities and business risks.

Operational & Financial Management

  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high levels of customer service.
  • Manage branch assets and ensure operational goals are aligned with company objectives.
  • Work closely with the Director of Credit Services to manage branch account receivables and support sound financial performance.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop branch employees to build a motivated, high-performing team environment.
  • Foster a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and long-term success for employees, customers, and the organization.
  • Provide coaching and support to employees while promoting professional growth and operational excellence.

Customer & Product Support

  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring consistent service quality and operational reliability.
  • Leverage industry and product support knowledge to support departmental operations and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

Education & Experience:

  • Relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the heavy equipment industry.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a progressively responsible management role.
  • Proven background in product support and departmental operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of branch operations, asset management, and sales performance metrics.
  • Experience managing receivables and supporting financial performance objectives.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment products, services, and operational processes.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
