Key Responsibilities
As the Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records to support the day-to-day operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

Daily Accounting Transactions:

Record and reconcile daily sales, payments, and deposits across multiple departments or locations.

Maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely data entry.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
-
Process invoices, vendor payments, and staff reimbursements.
-
Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and maintain organized records.

Payroll & Compliance Support:

Assist in preparing payroll and ensuring required deductions and remittances are accurately processed.

Support regulatory filings and maintain compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Financial Reporting & Collaboration:

Generate and review monthly financial reports and support year-end processes.

Work closely with the Controller and other internal stakeholders to provide financial clarity and support decision-making.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

Education & Experience:
-
A diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred.

3+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, ideally within a small to mid-sized business environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.

Solid working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
