Key Responsibilities

As the Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems and components for agricultural equipment and industrial machinery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the electrical design process for new equipment, ensuring that systems are reliable, cost-effective, and meet industry standards.
  • Conduct performance analysis of electrical systems and components, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, product management, and manufacturing teams to ensure cohesive integration of electrical systems into the overall equipment design.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure alignment of electrical designs with project goals and timelines.
  • Oversee electrical engineering project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and grow within the organization.
  • Offer technical expertise and troubleshooting support to the team, ensuring high-quality solutions for complex electrical challenges.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in electrical engineering, industry developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Integrate new electrical technologies into designs to enhance product performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design and development, preferably in agricultural or industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar tools).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and automation.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex electrical challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
