Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are excited to present an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer in Regina, SK. You’ll be responsible for designing and drafting Electrical Engineering works, along with handling reports, estimates, site inspections and project contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft Electrical Engineering works for building construction and renovation projects.
  • Detail Electrical elements for all projects, including plans, technical details, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants as needed.
  • Prepare cost estimates, tender contract documents, and Engineering reports.
  • Perform Electrical design calculations and prepare Revit/AutoCAD drawings for Electrical systems.
  • Liaise with Clients, Authorities, and Contractors.
  • Conduct site inspections during the construction phase and perform contract administration duties.
  • Collaborate with internal design disciplines to ensure project coordination and success.
  • Monitor project costs and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and enthusiasm for success in a positive environment.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Consulting Office preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Professional Engineer license in Saskatchewan or other Canadian Provinces or registered as Engineer-in-Training while working towards licensure.
  • Willingness to work on multiple projects in multiple Provinces and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
