COMMERCIAL INSURANCE MANAGER
LOCATION: SURREY, BC
REFERENCE JOB # 69903

Our client, a mid-size brokerage with a phenomenal reputation with both staff and clients; has an immediate opportunity for a Team Lead in there Commercial IBU/Small Business Department.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Inspire a culture of high performance, productivity, collaboration, teamwork, customer service, and professionalism.
  • Champion, communicate, and implement corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Review and complete internal audits on processes, documentation and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with Senior management to improve efficiency and modify procedures and workflows.
  • Drive IBU retention and new business, upsell and cross-sell targets.
  • Seek opportunities to grow and develop the IBU portfolio.
  • Promote open and honest communication with the team.
  • Motivate accountability to achieve goals and enhance customer satisfaction. 


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education or CIP designation is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Insurance Experience is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality dealing with sensitive information.
  • Capable of working in an agile, fast-paced and constantly changing environment with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively; proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary in the range of $75,000.00 to $95,000.00.
