We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our client's team. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for managing the agile sprint process for cross-functional program review or product delivery teams, providing leadership and mentoring in agile principles, policies, and procedures, and enabling teams to self-organize and consistently deliver on sprint deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams involved in program review and product delivery, following agile principles and procedures.
  • Lead and coordinate various agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, stand-ups, sprint reviews, product demos, retrospectives, and refinement, as well as any additional necessary sessions.
  • Ensure efficient delivery of services and products by coaching and supporting the product owner and the team.
  • Coach the team in the application of agile methodology, particularly in providing accurate estimates and commitments for sprints, adjusting for external dependencies, and resolving any blocking issues.
  • Act as a liaison between the product owner and the team to ensure the successful accomplishment of sprint goals and commitments.
  • Keep track of delivery metrics and provide reports on product-level plans, progress, and quality assurance using project management tools and artifacts such as sprint burndown/velocity charts, product backlogs, and sprint backlogs. Report on progress as required.
  • Engage in digital service delivery activities, including user research and usability testing.


  • Active professional Scrum Master certification.
  • Knowledge of various software development methodologies (e.g., agile, waterfall, scrum).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Minimum 5 years of directly related experience in web service or development.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in or for the public sector.
