As a Parts Person, you’ll play a key role in driving customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate parts orders and solutions while helping to maintain smooth operations within the company. This role offers a unique chance to contribute directly to business growth while interacting with a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
As the Parts Person, your role is crucial in facilitating seamless operations for both customers and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Initiate outbound sales calls to identify new opportunities and generate sales.
- Engage with customers to identify their parts needs and provide tailored solutions, fostering long-term relationships.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to parts-related inquiries through phone, email, and text, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Accurately process parts orders, providing real-time updates on availability and shipping timelines.
- Assist Brandt field staff with parts-related queries and ensure they have the necessary support to resolve customer issues.
- Collaborate with multiple vendors to offer customers a wide selection of parts, ensuring their needs are fully met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer orders and inventory availability.
- Ensure proper documentation of transactions, including shipping information, order confirmations, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably with prior outbound sales experience.
- Previous experience in the agricultural sector is an asset, though not required.
- Strong multitasking abilities and experience navigating multiple systems efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and familiarity with parts management software is beneficial.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with customers and provide tailored solutions.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage customer parts requests accurately and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills, actively listening to customers and addressing their unique needs.
- A team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates initiative.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is an asset.
