ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – 4 Month Contract Position - Acheson AB

An exciting opportunity is available to join a well-established organization located Acheson for a 4 month term contract role!  Position is available June 17th – apply today!

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Field Operations Manager, you will focus on providing exceptional administrative support to this busy, fast paced group.  An excellent attention to detail, willingness to take on additional tasks, time management and advanced MS 365 and SAP knowledge is required. This position is Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm In-Office.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Reception duties, answer incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Clerical duties, filing, photocopying, and scanning.
  • Manage couriers; deliveries, mail, and shipments.
  • Provide door and gate access to staff and visitors.
  • Assist with organizing travel accommodations and help manage the Manager’s commitments.
  • Organize and document weekly/monthly staff meetings and office events.
  • Assist in the creating and editing of reports, and presentations.
  • Provide support in processing expense claims, time entry, vehicle reports, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in a busy, fast paced time sensitive environment.
  • Advanced MS 365 skills (including MS PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge and experience using SharePoint and SAP is an asset.
  • Experience in assembly and editing of large documents/project files.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, must be a team player.
  • Outstanding multitasking skills: ability to stay professional and calm in a busy, fast paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly rate of pay will be in the range of $23.00 - $25.00 based on experience.  Please note that a clear criminal record check is a requirement for the successful candidate.
