The Opportunity

Our client is looking for someone to join their team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be process driven, has strong communication skills and is a hard worker. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Support the recruitment, hiring and onboarding process by updating job ads, managing job boards, scheduling interviews, and ensuring all pre-hire activities are completed.
  • Build talent pools and pipelines for specific positions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate administration of benefits in Workday.
  • Organize and attend career fairs and recruitment events with Post-Secondary Institutions and professional associations.
  • Assist in payroll-related tasks in Workday; updating bank information, name changes, employment letters, updates to deductions, etc.  
  • Maintain electronic employee records, payroll documents and HRIS updates.
  • Conduct various audits to guarantee data integrity; compile reports for stakeholders as required.
  • Additional tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.); previous experience with Workday.
  • Quick leaner with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively; capable of problem-solving and applies critical thinking skills.
  • Exercises sound judgement and confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay rate will be based on experience.
