Job Title: Engineering Team Lead - Tillage Equipment Design

You will be responsible for leading both the business and technical aspects of your unit, and have oversight of such functions as design, estimating and project management. Your Role: As the Design Engineer, you will have a demonstrated aptitude for design. This includes design and development of new equipment as well as the continuous improvement of existing products.

Your Responsibilities:

• Use AutoCAD 3D to develop product designs and technical drawings.
• Design for manufacturability, serviceability, reliability, affordability, etc (DFx).
• Produce engineering deliverables that meet quality, cost and schedule requirements.
• Mentor and develop internal personnel.
• Ensure deliverables meet the particular quality cost and delivery objectives of the projects.
• Design for completeness and correctness.
• Ensure attitude and commitment to continuous improvement of the engineering principles.

Your Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer or Technologist with 3+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience in machine design and 3D AutoCAD systems (Solidworks preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Previous design product knowledge in the grain carts is an asset.
• Experience in designing welding and bolted fabrication assemblies.
• Experience in material science for steel and aluminum.
