Job Title: Senior Architect-Commercial Buildings for Agriculture Clients

Are you passionate about sustainable architecture and creating innovative spaces for the agriculture industry?

Executrade is seeking a Senior Architect to join our marquee client and lead the design of commercial buildings tailored to the unique needs of agriculture business. As Senior Architect you will join the real estate development farm of an industry leader with proven expertise to design, build, and manage advanced commercial buildings and facilities. As part of a self performing development team, you will be responsible for the design and approval of innovative designs of commercial, corporate, and industrial buildings.

This position is for a well-rounded individual who is looking for an exciting and challenging opportunity that offers insights from a facility user, operator, and owner perspective, as well as long-term stability and growth opportunity. Your renumeration will include a comprehensive compensation plan that includes a competitive salary, health benefits and performance bonuses.This position is based out of Regina Saskatchewan and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinating projects and project teams with minimal supervision from project initiation through design development, construction document preparation, and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and develop design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Work closely with the project team to produce high-quality drawings, specifications, and presentations.
  • Oversee the construction phase to ensure that the design intent is carried out accurately.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in architecture for agriculture.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
  • Licensed architect in Canada with a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial architecture.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering successful projects for agriculture clients.
  • Strong design and technical skills, with proficiency in Revit is a must, AutoCAD, Lumion and Photoshop will be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas to internal clients and team members.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and a passion for creating environmentally friendly buildings.
