COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER (Quebec Licensed)
**HYBRID**
LOCATIONS: CHILLIWACK, BC OR ABBOTSFORD, BC

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions:

  • Maintaining and expanding the book of long-term commercial VIP clients
  • Engaging directly with clients for renewals, record-keeping, and policy updates
  • Streamlining the process for Commercial Lines renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Collaborating with insurers on underwriting, new business terms, and related tasks
  • Issuing certificates, bonds, and handling special event insurance promptly
  • Overseeing accounts receivable and efficiently managing abeyances
  • Proactively diving into new business territories and following up on leads
  • Leveraging technology tools, including EPIC and MS Office, for operational efficiency

 


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 Years (or more) working on a Commercial Book of Business
  • Knowledgable with Hospitality Risks
  • Critical Thinker
  • General Insurance Level 2 License, British Columbia
  • Quebec Licensed
  • CAIB or CIP Designation considered an asset.
  • Proficient with Applied EPIC, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
