COMMERCIAL TRUCKING AND TRANSPORTATION INSURANCE CLAIMS ADJUSTER
LOCATION: ONTARIO  (COMBINATION OF REMOTE AND FIELD WORK)
REFERENCE: JOB# 66788

 

Opportunity:

Our client, a well-established independent claims firm in Canada; They are looking to add an experienced Commercial Trucking and Transportation Insurance Claims Adjuster. This position does offer work from home benefit; however, you will need to be able to do site visits.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned claims.
  • Claims will be dealt with by in person and telephone.
  • Ensuring accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files

 


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years or more of technical experience in adjusting commercial insurance claims 
  • Experience handling trucking, transportation and/or cargo claims is required 
  • Experience handling liability, auto PD and/or bodily injury claims is an asset
  • Ontario Full adjusting license and CIP designation or working towards is required
  • Ontario Probationary adjusting license at minimum is required 
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance related field working towards full license and CIP designation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
  • travel within Ontario is required
