COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ADMINISTRATOR

The Opportunity

This individual would be responsible for the smooth and profitable functioning of their commercial properties. The successful candidate will have customer service experience and professional communication skills who is looking to join a family commercial property firm.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Provide support for the daily operations of 7 commercial properties to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage and resolve any tenant inquiries, concerns, requests, and complaints in a timely fashion.
  • Acquire price quotations and facilitate collaboration with contractor and suppliers to manage building maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform administrative functions, such as managing banking matters, processing work orders and handling insurance-related tasks.
  • Reception duties including, answering phones, and greeting visitors.
  • Occasionally showing new tenants suites.
  • Travel between properties as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years intermediate administrative experience.
  • Post Secondary Education in Administration or another field.
  • Real Estate License is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of preparing leases, letters, agreements, and other real estate documentation.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills; Yardi experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-environment.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Compensation and Benefits
