We are currently seeking to expand our Business Development team at our Edmonton office by welcoming a dynamic, and driven sales professional with a growth mindset. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for proactively generating new business and managing existing accounts, and will approach sales with a solution-oriented, relationship-based mindset, and demonstrate an ability to meet sales targets.
The primary objective of this role is to achieve market share growth through strategic account development and to establish long-term relationships. Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Embody our vision and actively seek partnerships with world-class organizations to deliver exceptional integrated people solutions.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, targeting key industries and segments.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to present Executrade services, highlighting the value proposition and differentiating factors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Account Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their trusted partner.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional integrated people solutions that align with our clients' needs and our vision.
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for cross-selling, and renewals.
- Develop strategic account plans to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client issues or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and client-specific challenges to provide proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the staffing industry or business-to-business (B2B) service sales.
- Previous experience in professional services and in the staffing industries a definite asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of generating leads through cold and warm calling, marketing campaigns, research and networking.
- Experience working with corporate leaders and key decision makers (including the C-Suite) and proven success building relationships at this level and securing business.
- Intrinsically driven to exceed sales goals and have an innate entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts, including contract negotiation, cross-selling, and renewals.
- Strong hunting and prospecting skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required for this position.
- Flexibility in hours of work based on the needs and requirements of clients.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
