Alberta Land Surveyor – Remote Position

 

Executrade is currently working with a client in search of an Alberta Land Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. We are seeking an individual with expertise in the Legal Oil/Gas Survey sector and has a strong desire to thrive and learn within an innovative, and forward-thinking company.

Key Account Responsibilities

  • Overseeing survey projects of various scales.
  • Collaborating with field crews, drafters, plan checkers, and Land Surveyors.
  • Coordinating with other Project Leads to optimize resource sharing.
  • Developing and presenting estimates to clients.
  • Collaborating with clients to define project scopes.
  • Thriving in a dynamic environment with shifting deadlines.
  • Drafting or calculating well site, pipeline, as -built, and legal plans.
  • Assisting in the creation of polished and professional-looking deliverables.
  • Ensuring quality Control of data and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in interpreting Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure systems.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work autonomously from home, utilizing internal virtual systems.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Holds a valid commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor (Articling students may be considered).
  • Prioritizes building strong internal and external relationships within the company.
  • Displays an unwavering commitment to excellence in all tasks.
  • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of effectively communicating with clients.
  • Creativity.
  • Holds a degree/diploma from a Technical College or University in Geomatics
  • Five to ten years of experience in legal oilfield surveys.
  • Experience in construction surveying is advantageous.
